I had a mixed experience at the Intercontinental Costa Rica. The ambiance and cleanliness of the hotel were impressive, with a beautiful lobby and nice pools. However, the service was lacking, especially in the pool area which ran out of towels and took a long time to replenish. My room had some cleanliness issues, but the breakfast buffet made up for some of the drawbacks. Overall, it was good but not quite what I expected from a luxury hotel.
